Appearance (show a picture, if you must): Fadedstar is a large grey eyed tom with a think fur that starts black on his back but fades to white the farther down on his pelt it goes, towards his belly.
Personality: Fadedstar is fair and understanding but can be very strict when it comes to the way his clan is run. He likes things done properly and quickly. he hates having outstanding issues unless he chooses to make them so
His/her history: Fadedstar was known as Fadedfur before he became leader. He was born to Needleclaw and Foxpelt, both warriors of SnowClan. Needleclaw died soon after his birth in a battle with a fox on their territory. Foxpelt spent a long time mourning her mate and the litter of kits became her first priority, them being the only thing she had left of her beloved mate. Thornkit, Fadedkit and Morningkit were growing up strong and were on the brink of apprenticeship when Morningkit was struck with greencough and died. Foxpelt could not accept her kits death and once Fadedpaw became a warrior apprentice and Thornpaw that of the medicine cat, she became quite the recluse. She still continued her Clan duties, but was quick tempered and always ready to start a fight. She died after a bad fall, her injuries causing internal bleeding and she died soon after. Fadedpaw and Thornpaw were all the family they had left and became very close. Once Thornpaw had been accepted as the apprentice by StarClan and given the name Thornflower, Fadedpaw worked even harder at his apprenticeship to catch up to her. He was soon a warrior and received the name Fadedfur. After a battle with a rogue tribe, the deputy was injured to badly to continue his duties and had to resign, Fadedfur was chosen as his successor and he did his job well. Seasons later, a bad leaf-bare came upon SnowClan and many cats died of starvation. The leader also came down with greencough and could not fight it off even with the mindful care of The medicine cat and Thornflower and the last of his lives was lost to the illness. Fadedfur took over quickly and became Fadedstar.

Fadedstar padded out of his den. The brisk early morning wind, blowing the fresh-fallen snow to lap at his paws. His grey eyes scanned the silent camp as the new day sun sparkled off of the sea of white. A small smile tugged at the edges of the leaders mouth. This was his home, this was SnowClan.
