Her mother, Lynxtail, is an AshClan cat. She has not revealed the identity of her mate, but Blackpaw's theory is that he was a rogue paramour of Lynxtail's.

Appearance
Blackpaw is a bi-colored she-cat. The fur on her back and around her eyes is black, while the fur on the lower half of her is white. She has a black, elliptical patch on each of her shoulders. There is a thin, grayish border between the different-colored patches which is just a result of hair overlap. Her eyes are a gray-green and she has short, stubby claws.
Personality
Being an eternal optimist, Blackpaw always looks on the bright sides of things. Nothing ever goes wrong to her--it's just "not as smooth as it could have been." She is very kind and gentle, which puts her at a disadvantage for warrior training. Some cats blame the lack of a figurative backbone on the fact that Blackpaw doesn't have a father figure in her life. Perhaps this would be overcome if her mentor was a tomcat; perhaps it wouldn't. She's quite social and loves to chat with the other cats.
History
Blackpaw was born in AshClan and had a relatively normal kithood, despite not knowing who her father is. She was just made an apprentice and is eager to start her training.
Roleplay Sample
A snowflake lazily drifted from the sky. It quickly caught the attention of Blackpaw, who was, until moments ago, resting in her den. She raced outside and looked up. More snow was falling from the gray clouds. The apprentice laughed in delight and ran around, leaping at the ice crystals at every chance she had and generally expressing a great amount of joy.
