Appearance (show a picture, if you must): Thornflower is a long, thin she-cat with a dark gray pelt that looks a little blue in the light. She has long claws like her father and sharp purple eyes like her mother
Personality: Thornflower is quick witted and well studied in the art of being a medicine cat. She is caring, but strict in her treatments and expects cats to just listen when she tells them to do something. She also is very keen in her interpretations of omens from StarClan.
His/her history: Thornflower and her brother Fadedstar were born to Needleclaw and Foxpelt, both warriors of SnowClan. Needleclaw died soon after her birth in a battle with a fox on their territory. Foxpelt spent a long time mourning her mate and the litter of kits became her first priority, them being the only thing she had left of her beloved mate. Thornkit, Fadedkit and Morningkit were growing up strong and were on the brink of apprenticeship when Morningkit was struck with greencough and died. Foxpelt could not accept her kits death and once Fadedpaw became a warrior apprentice and Thornpaw that of the medicine cat, she became quite the recluse. She still continued her Clan duties, but was quick tempered and always ready to start a fight. She died after a bad fall, her injuries causing internal bleeding and she died soon after. Fadedpaw and Thornpaw were all the family they had left and became very close. Once Thornpaw had been accepted as the apprentice by StarClan and given the name Thornflower, she worked even harder at her studies to be the best medicine cat that she would, as she promised her mother. Seasons later, a bad leaf-bare came upon SnowClan and many cats died of starvation. The leader also came down with greencough and could not fight it off even with the mindful care of The medicine cat and Thornflower and the last of his lives was lost to the illness. The bought of greencough had been defeated, but her predecessor was getting old and soon had succumb to the harshness of the leaf-bare and was take as well.

Thornflower slept peacefully in the medicine cats den, just like any other night. Soon she found herself walking amongst the trees of the forest. All was quiet and normal until she heard the ear piercing caterwaul of terrified cats. She started to run and run through the forest, but these cats could not be found. "These are the forests of SnowClan...but where are the cats?" She whispered to herself in exacerbation. Soon the caterwauls died and all was quiet once more, but the stench of blood permeated the air and the snow below her paws melted into blood as well. She awoke with a start and looked around, the tang of the scent still stinging her nose. "What does this mean?" She asked herself panting. "I have to tell Fadedstar..."
